Quote

Overseeing the planning and evolution of the content of the Seditious Types exhibition in the National Print Museum was a truly inspiring experience. Generally our focus is drawn to the meaning behind the words rather than the print vessel which carriers those meanings. Working with the 1916 prints brought us back to the very tangible point in history where patriot and printer combined to create revolutionary words perpetually stamped onto paper. The printers hands, by working presses large and small, succeeded in preserving all facets of 1916 Ireland, creating an often overlooked national treasure.
